Responsibilities
Position re-posted: Managing a personal account portfolio of corporate accounts Managing business and leisure travel agencies The position combines direct sales with supervising the activities of the rest of the regional sales team. The role is central to Continental (CO) relationships with the regional airports; it is key in developing local marketing opportunities (competitions in the travel trade, local media etc) in conjunction with the Horley marketing team, and in representing the company at business and civic events in the regions.
Qualifications
An experienced travel sales professional with experience in managing a team. Commercial and business acumen is critical in a position which continually needs to seek and maximize the opportunities in regions that historically fill in excess of 60% of the aircraft. An approachable, reliable, sales person who can communicate at all levels. An understanding of Transatlantic pricing and revenue management is desirable. Must have sales experience - travel industry relevant. Fluent in English (read, write and speak). Must have a full UK driving license. Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom for any employer without sponsorship.
