Responsibilities

Monitor phases of catering assembly in the catering facility while adhering to all local laws and hygiene standards. Inspect food and beverages, serving utensils, liquor supplies, duty-free items and catering equipment prior to loading in the catering vehicle. Complete vehicle inspections for weapons, explosives, or dangerous items prior to loading of the catering carts and/ or catering equipment. Monitor all catering equipment being loaded on the truck prior to sealing the truck. Seal all trucks following inspection. Documenting sealing process and record keeping. Internal Inspections. Conduct internal kitchen inspections and monitor all areas for potential security risks. Seal trucks following inspection. Document inspection process and maintain accurate records. Monitor the facility security camera (in applicable locations). Prepare daily shift report on security activities. Ensure tamper proof seals are in a secured location. Support unit in the Supply Chain Optimization initiative. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain a 10-year employment background clearance for FAA and FBI fingerprinting. Ability to operate a personal computer, fax machine, calculator, and other office equipment. Ability to read, write and speak fluent English. Detail oriented. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Basic writing and math skills. Knowledge of in-flight catering preferred. Continuous standing and walking. Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 60 lbs. Frequent repetitive motion (i.e. bending, reaching, stooping, squatting). Ability to work under time constraints. Read and log accurate security records. Shifts to cover 24-hour operation. Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Training will be provided on the job. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
