Responsibilities

Produce and maintain Web content for continental.com including HTML coding and image optimization. Consult with various departments in the company to help them to communicate their information effectively on the Web. Test Web content for accuracy and to ensure it displays correctly in popular browsers.

Qualifications

Bachelor' degree in Computer Science or 4 years equivalent work experience.  3-5 years experience working in a fast paced, Internet environment. Very detail oriented with excellent communication and problem solving skills. Knowledge of layout principles, aesthetic design concepts and Web standards. Must be able to hand code complex HTML and CSS in Notepad without the use of a visual editor. Must be able to optimize pages for efficient delivery and cross browser compatibility. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, ImageReady, Acrobat and Illustrator (sizing and optimizing images and documents). Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, ASP, ASP.net, JavaScript, coding in foreign languages and content management systems is a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
