Responsibilities

Record meter reading and temperatures for electric, gas and water. Perform monthly preventive maintenance on mechanical appliances and equipment. Complete work orders assigned by Maintenance - Lead and/or manager. Change chemical for Warewashing machine. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the department and kitchen. Operate ice plant equipment and bag ice with supervision. Blow down boiler and feed chemical. Operate and maintain emergency generator and refuel. Add salt to water softener equipment. Operate company vehicles, forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, baler and other mechanical equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic math skills. Ability to read and understand diagrams, schematic and blue prints. Working knowledge in one or more of the following facility maintenance trades that include: refrigeration, electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, automotive mechanics, boiler repair or general building repair. One-year work experience in one or more of the following facility maintenance trades that include: refrigeration, electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, automotive mechanics, boiler repair or general building repair. High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and current driving abstract. Obtain a 10-year background for FAA security access. Ability to read, speak and write English. Lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. Pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs. Continuous climbing over 20 feet. Shifts to cover 24-hour operation. Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.
