International Airport Sales Agent - Ticket Counter/Gate Agent - LIS Part-Time Position

Travel subject to service charges/restrictions. Bonuses awarded only under terms of Continental's plans/policies.

Responsibilities

          Ticket Counter/Gate Airport Sales Agents (ASA's) are responsible for: Staffing the ticket counter, boarding gates and baggage service areas of the airport (Duties may include check-in, ticketing, gates, baggage service and operations). Providing assistance and excellent customer service to the traveling public by performing various customer service duties in the airport terminal such as: Receiving and directing incoming calls, greeting and directing customers, tagging and handling baggage. Preparing tickets, determining fares and routing to assure passenger's travel needs are met. Maintaining a neat and professional appearance by adhering to Continental's standards for uniform and dress.

Qualifications

Must be able to work the ticket counter as well as the boarding gates and baggage service area. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Proven customer service work experience desirable. Must have a professional appearance. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs (35 Kilos). Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire work shift. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be legally authorized to work in Portugal for any employer without sponsorship. Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English and Portuguese.
