Responsibilities
Oversee the administration of service bulletin, nonroutine and other aircraft warranty claims. Evaluate warranty provisions to determine warranty coverage for subject parts and ensure proper claim processing. Negotiate and settle complex warranty claims. Monitor and ensure compliance with warranty claim standard operating procedures. Prepare month-end reports on status of service bulletin-related claims and delinquent nonroutine warranty claims. Provide any necessary or relevant training to Buyers and Sr. Buyers. Focal point for resolution of questions regarding particular claims and/or procedures. Review EA's/FCD's/ECRA's and corresponding Service Bulletins/Service Letters to determine warranty coverage, including parts and labor. Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing and other groups.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Continental's Product Assurance agreements with the Boeing Company, as well as Boeing's Product Assurance agreements with its suppliers, and the ability to apply this understanding to the administration of nonroutine and Service Bulletin-related warranty claims. Thorough knowledge of SCEPTRE, EDMS, ARDocs, Boeing Warranty Database, and Continental Warranty Tracking System. Ability to develop and interpret reports and identify developing trends within the warranty process. Ability to work closely with workgroups within the Technical Services and Technical Operations divisions. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), Excellent attention to problem identification and resolution. Strong analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. Ability to handle several projects simultaneously. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.
