Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of up to five IT auditors to perform various application reviews and system development evaluations to protect corporate assets and ensure proper internal controls are developed and maintained in the Company. Perform analysis of user requirements. design, development, programming, maintenance, and enhancements of systems to reduce control weaknesses; development of documentation and user training and assistance, and identification and resolution of software/hardware problems. Originate and develop audit programs and revised departmental procedures proposed to be adopted as a result of new technology. Identify and select the appropriate tools that can be used (i.e., use of existing reports versus utilizing automated data analysis software for extracting data). Generation of workpaper documentation, preparing report draft of findings and coordinating recommendations to address findings with management of areas reviewed.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of IT audit experience (prefer Big 4 Public Accounting) with a proven track record of managing people. Professional designation (e.g. CISA) a must. Experience in SQL server, Unix, and Query writing skills a plus. Also desired are experience in the transportation field, an advanced degree and other certifications. The position requires limited domestic and international travel. Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
