Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the airport operation, including CO (Continental) and vendor staff, to ensure a safe, clean, and reliable product. Work closely with vendor to coordinate operational security and ensure compliance with TSA and Transport Canada directives. Perform all customer and flight processing, including covering positions and assisting in all aspects of operation. Direct, maintain, and lead staff to meet and/or exceed company performance objectives. Primary CO Representative with Airport Authority and other U.S. and local government regulatory agencies. Responsible for creating and maintaining strict administrative and financial controls in compliance with corporate policies. Responsible for proper hiring and training of CO and vendor staff. Manage all aspects vendor contracts, both operationally and administratively. Create and control airport budget, as well as process all invoices and other disbursements.
Qualifications
Willing to work hours as required by the operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to cope with, and adapt to, a challenging work and living environment. Excellent communications and organizational skill and a strong sense of ethics and integrity. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Able to interact with all company departments and levels of management and employees. Minimum of three (3) years airport experience required. Minimum of one (1) year direct supervisory experience required. Strong working knowledge of Windows Office products required. College degree preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada for any employer without sponsorship.
