I was wondering if anyone could tell me if an airline pulled a credit report while conducting the major background check? I'm really afraid this will hinder me even though my criminal/employment records are flawless.

I went through a nasty divorce last year and my X was responsible for controlling ALL the finances. Recently it has come to my attention that he did NOT pay any of my bills since 2004. I am devastated. I personally do not think I should include this information in any application, however, I do NOT want to be weeded out for a potential F/A position do to this.

I do not know where to turn. I've been a full-time college student since 2004 majoring in registered nursing and did not work full-time. Now, I'm seeking my *permanent*, long-term career as a F/A so consolidating and paying off my debt now is not an option.

Has anyone ever been in this situation? What did you do? How did you handle it?

I would greatly appreciate any feedback and assistance you can give me.
